Beautiful skin is desired by all, but only a few are blessed with it naturally. If your skin looks lifeless & dull because of lack of skin care, do not worry. These home remedies will be highly useful in making your skin smooth and spotless.

The great news is that these face masks would not cause any allergies or reaction since they have natural ingredients. For visible results, it’s necessary that you use these masks at least two or three times in a week.

Face Pack for all skin types

To make this highly effective face pack, you require aloe vera gel. Whether you use the fresh one or the bottled one, it totally depends on your convenience. Simply take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and add five drops of rosewater to it. Mix them well and apply it for 15 minutes, or leave it overnight. The natural ingredients used in this face pack would do their magic and give you a smooth, spotless skin in few days.

For Normal Skin

If you have normal skin, which is neither too oily nor too dry, this face pack is perfect for you. Take a banana and mash it using a fork and add a spoonful of honey. Apply the mask on your face & neck and leave for fifteen to twenty minutes. A banana would make your skin soft and honey would stop the acne problems and breakouts.

For Dry Skin

If you want your skin to be really smooth, a chick pea mask is the key to it. Take half teaspoon of this flour and add four drops of lemon. Mix them together and make a smooth, consistent paste. Now simply apply it on your skin and leave it for ten to fifteen minutes. This pack would give a nice glow to your skin and rejuvenate it by removing dead skin cells.

For Oily Skin

Yogurt has amazing qualities and this makes it the perfect ingredient for any face mask. It hydrates your skin and leaves a glow which lasts for days to come. For this skin remedy, take 1 spoon full of yogurt and add a pinch of turmeric to it. Turmeric has antibacterial properties which would keep your skin from breaking out. Apply it to the face and gently scrub it so that the dead cells are removed. Leave it for fifteen minutes but do not let it dry completely. Wash away with lukewarm water and you will have the smoothest skin ever.

Tips for Proven, Visible Results:

– Always clean your face with lukewarm water before applying any face pack. This removes the oil & dirt and helps the mask to work properly on your skin.

– Do not let the face pack dry as this causes wrinkles on the skin. When the face pack is about to dry, simply wash it or use a soft, wet cloth to remove it.

– If your skin feels irritated wash the pack immediately and apply a moisturizer or aloe vera gel to soothe it.

– Always ensure that you are not allergic to any ingredient before you apply it on your skin.

– You can add honey to any face pack as it would stop the acne problems and also save you from skin allergies and irritation.

Now you have the secret which would make your skin healthy and full of life. These masks will add a lasting glow to your skin and keep it hydrated.

Keeping the skin glowing and beautiful is a tough thing, but these home remedies for beautiful skin are totally worthy.

Makeup Blush – Tips to Apply on The Round Face!

For a modern woman, perfecting the ideal selfie is quite a challenge. The angle of the photo and the makeup needs to be on point. These days the beauty community has taken to social media, to teach and offer tips on flawless make-up. Each and every post is meticulously designed, with attractive pictures and helpful tips.

In fact, the perfect application of blush along with highlighter is crucial when it comes to capturing a perfect selfie. Makeup Blush makes one look younger, happier, and quirky! It provides you with a healthy glow without spending weeks in the gym to gain the exact same result.

Not all women are blessed with high cheekbones like Angelina Jolie or Kareena Kapoor, especially women with rounder faces. It may seem complicated and difficult to master proper application of make up blush to achieve the sculpted look that is so hot right now. Here are a few tips that should help you-

  • Try to choose the correct shade of blush from your blush palette. If you are light skinned, a pale pink would suit you and provide you with a chiseled look. However, if you are of a darker complexion, such an effect cannot be achieved by the same colour. In this case, use a darker coral or a cranberry shade to achieve the same look. It will slim down the roundness of your face and give you a more angular appearance.
  • Remember that blush can not only contour your face, but also slim down your nose! Use a good quality brush or a beauty blender and apply the blush on the sides of your nose. Be careful not to use a blush with shimmer or glitter as it will draw the wrong kind of attention to your face. A subtle muted mauve or coral will do the trick, making the nose appear longer and reducing the roundness of your face.
  • The reason why your face appears round is because of the roundness of the cheeks. Therefore the best spot to apply blush in this case is under the cheekbones. One should avoid the apples of the cheeks as it will make your cheeks look rounder than they already are. Suck in your cheeks, and apply the blush to balance out the roundness and add further definition to your face.

If you have dry skin avoid using powder blush as it will appear patchy especially on the foundation. This will further attract attention to the roundness of your cheeks. In turn, use cream blush, which will do wonders for you! Looking for top-notch 3D mascara ? http://mesmereyesproducts.com/ is the place to visit.

Why Organic Beauty Products Are Best For Your Skin

With the ever-growing number of women desiring to have younger and more beautiful looking skin, it’s no wonder how the beauty industry is raking in billions every year. The idea of having flawless looking skin is something that most, if not all women want… but at what price? The average consumer is not aware that a good number of beauty products contains extremely harsh chemicals. These chemicals are very harmful, and over a period of time can cause major health problems. However, the good news is there’s a healthy alternative to this problem. It is very possible to achieve maximum beauty, while still maintaining good health by way of organic beauty products. Taking a more natural route to beauty has been proven highly beneficial to your skin, and more importantly to your overall health and well-being.

Organic beauty products don’t contain any harsh ingredients therefore they are much more gentle on your skin. Since main stream beauty products are usually chock-full of fragrances, parabens, and artificial colors, there are quite a few negative consequences that can occur. These issues span from allergies & infertility issues, to hormone imbalances and even cancer. Over time these ingredients can also cause damage to your immune system and ultimately limit your skin’s healing abilities. When using all natural ingredients to take care of your skin, you can actually boost your immune system. Being that your skin is an organ and it takes in everything that it is exposed to, you will essentially be welcoming the rich nutrients from these healthy alternatives into your body.

There are tons of organic beauty products on the market that you can checkout, or even create in your home. All it takes is a few simple ingredients. These include: raw honey, aloe vera, avocado, sea salt, coconut oil, tea tree oil, castor oil, and jojoba oil to name a few. These components all come loaded with benefits, and they all lead to a healthy and happy body. Altogether, this gentle alternative can replenish your skin, boost collagen production, strengthen underlying tissues, provide anti-fungal properties, and also treat age spots. Some of them can even aid in keeping your gut healthy all while fighting off chronic skin diseases such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. With organic beauty products, you simply can’t go wrong. Every time you step outside your door, your skin is at war with the environment. There are tons of toxins floating about the air that can affect our health negatively. So slathering more toxins onto your skin can only bring about more bad results. Taking out the time to give your skin a little love and restoration can go a really long way. By giving your skin what it truly needs, your end result will be more than satisfying as you will be left with beautiful, clear, healthy, flawless skin.

Hair And Its Growth Cycle

For many, hair can be source of worry as well as jealousy at times. For some, it is source of vanity too. If people have correct information and facts about hair, they will be spared of much worry or jealousy.

An average person has up to 150,000 hair follicles on one’s head, whereas the entire adult body has 5 million. That number is constant over a lifetime. Hair has two distinct structures – the follicle itself, which resides in the skin, and the shaft, which is what is visible above the scalp.

Hair follicle – The hair follicle is a tunnel-like part of the epidermis that extends down into the dermis of the skin. At the base of the follicle is the papilla, which contains capillaries, or tiny blood vessels that nourish the cells. The living part of the hair is the very bottom part surrounding the papilla, called the bulb. The cells of the bulb divide every 23 to 72 hours, remarkably faster than any other cell in the body. Only one hair grows out of one follicle. At the base of the hair follicle are sensory nerve fibers that wrap around each hair bulb. Bending the hair stimulates the nerve endings allowing a person to feel that the hair has been moved.

Hair follicle has two sheaths, which protect it and help form the growing hair shaft. There are several other structures associated with the hair follicle, including arrector pili, which is a tiny bundle of muscle fiber connected to a follicle. The contraction of these muscles is what causes goose bumps. Sebaceous glands are also attached to hair follicles, which produce oil, called sebum that moves up hair follicles to the surface of the skin, where it lubricates skin and hair.

Hair shaft – The hair shaft is made of a hard protein called keratin and is made of three layers. In fact, the hair is not a living structure as this protein is dead. The inner layer of a hair is the medulla, the second layer the cortex and the outer layer the cuticle. The cortex makes up the majority of the hair shaft. The cuticle is a tightly formed structure made of shingle-like overlapping scales. It is both the cortex and the medulla that holds the hair’s pigment, giving it its color.

Hair growth cycle –

There are four stages of hair growth cycle:

Anagen (Growing phase): Hair in the anagen phase may grow faster during the early years. Average growth rate is 1 – 1.5 cm per 28 days. This phase lasts for two to seven years and determines the length of our hair.

Catagen (Regression phase): This stage lasts about ten days. The hair follicle shrinks and detaches from the dermal papilla.

Telogen (Resting phase): This is the resting phase of the follicle which lasts for approximately four months. About 10 to 15% of hairs are this stage. The follicle remains quiescent in its shortened state and awakens to regenerate with the onset of the new growth phase.

Exogen (Shedding phase): This is the period in which hair reaches its terminal position in the follicle. The resting hair is gradually loosened resulting in its shedding. The majority of shedding occurs during new growth phase.

Over time, the length of the anagen stage decreases. Therefore, the hair may become weaker and thinner after each cycle. That’s why it’s important to ensure your diet is rich in specific nutrients to maintain normal, healthy hair growth.

If hairs enter the resting phase too early, excess shedding and noticeable thinning of the hair can occur.

Telogen effluvium –

Telogen effluvium is a phenomenon that occurs after pregnancy, major surgery, drastic weight loss, or extreme stress, in which people shed large amounts of hair every day, usually when shampooing, styling, or brushing. It can also be a side effect of certain medications, such as antidepressants, beta-blockers, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. During telogen effluvium, hair shifts faster than normal from its growing phase into the resting phase before moving quickly into the shedding, or telogen, phase.

The bottom line –

Hair is far more complex than most of us understand. Besides creating gender identity, it plays a vital role in the appearance of both men and women. Therefore, any factual information about hair will help people take good care of them.

The structure of hair is quite complex than it is mostly understood by people. It is also important to understand its process of growth because it will shed light on why hair fall occurs and number of hair fall that should be considered normal. This will reduce the anxiety of many people about their hair fall.

Makeup Brushes or Makeup Sponges?

When it comes to makeup, every girl, regardless of what her age is, gets confused between a number of products and applicators. A foundation coverage, concealer application, or if it’s a subtle bronzer look, you have to find something, other than your fingers of course, to feed your inner makeup enthusiast.

A seamless finish is the dream of every girl by hoping to get skin as good as those models on the cover pages of Vogue or Marie Claire. But then again, does it have to cost us a fortune? Before you pick the sides of either one of the makeup brushes or the famous blending sponge, also known as the beauty blender, you have to notice the pros and cons of both of these items. After all, makeup is serious business.

Makeup Brushes:

Let’s start by praising the sheer beauty that the makeup brushes have stored in for us. Over the past many years, the use of a diverse number and styles of brushes have been used by women all over the globe. Liquid foundation can be best merged with the right brush but only if you know how to use it. Instead of painting your face with the foundation, you need to take a blending brush, move it in circular motions to get that perfect coverage for your foundation.

The problem with these is that washing them can be a very hectic routine. However, it gives you the fastest way to apply foundation. If the bristles are synthetic in order to ensure a smooth application of the liquid concealer, etc. Nevertheless, these are the best resource for the women who want a coverage using the liquid makeup products.

Makeup Sponges:

When it comes to the makeup routine of a beginner in the world of makeup, we have mostly noticed that they find no difficulty in using the makeup sponges. The thing with these beauty blenders is that it makes certain that the powder or the liquid sticks on to your face. Furthermore, the major benefit of using these is that it does not require you to give them a proper thorough cleanup, and can be washed effortlessly by placing under a running tap of water.

These have recently turned up in the limelight and give the everyday makeup lovers an easy access to achieve the look that they desire in just a matter of minutes. It depends on you that how you use these sponges for a light or heavy coverage.

Don’t forget to give your face a natural effect by using product that does not make your face seem too dramatic. Stick to your natural side by using a flocked sponge to help you with your makeup.

A glow that you have always wanted is within your reach with the appropriate weapon in hand, and yes by weapon we mean to say that your makeup brushes or sponges. It solely depends on you that which is the item that you have more control over, before you come to a decision of picking one.

Taking Proper Care of Sensitive Skin

Surely there is a limit to exfoliation and scrubbing that even the people with normal skin types have to bear in mind, but the importance of these steps cannot be neglected.

The products with hydrating ingredients should be preferred over scrubs and ingredients containing beads, etc. Any harsh element touching the skin can be harmful for the condition of the skin as it ultimately leads to dehydration and other marks. You cannot just slather up anything on your face like everyone else because your skin might react to it.

The market is full of creams that are designed specifically for the sensitive skin type. Make certain to include a sunscreen above SPF 15 in your daily routine. The outer cell layer should be protected and cleansed thoroughly so that the pores do not get clogged.

Your complexion can get dull if you don’t get rid of the dirt or oil clogged up on the skin. A Massaging Bar for Bath can be used to exfoliate the whole body, once in a while, so that your body gets the attention that it deserves.

This skin type should be cleansed with lukewarm water to open up the pores and for an effective cleanse. Other than that, pay close attention to your moisturizing routine. Maintaining the condition of the skin cells can give you a hard time, but with the help of the right creams and lotions, you can eliminate the issue. Just to be safe, you can even order samples of the products that you want to use.

Reverse the condition of your skin by keeping track of your skin care routine. It is better for you to stick to one brand rather than switching. An ultra-lite oil free moisturizer also works like magic for the people with sensitive skin. A gentle foaming cleanser can be used to ensure that the external layer of your face is free from acne-producing bacteria, and other oils, etc. The formation of wrinkles is also prevented the moment you make use of a quality moisturizer, as it maintains the elasticity of your skin.

Revitalize the health of the skin by searching for a Holy Grail product. Don’t believe anyone else’s opinion when it comes to cleansing, because not everyone can experience the similar results. You should prefer the things that contain organic or herbal ingredients, or are composed of the Vitamins A, C, and E, so that your face and skin stays healthy and glowing. After you are done performing a proper cleanse routine, don’t forget to rinse thoroughly and follow up with moisturizer.

Get Glowing Hands With These Fairness Tips

Not only a beautiful face, soft and glowing hands also add a lot to one’s personality. Since the skin on our hands is not as sensitive as that of your face, it is possible to use little strong products to make your hands look and feel beautiful. To make your hands look attractive, here are simple fairness tips.

  • Just as our face needs proper cleaning and scrubbing, our hands too need proper care every day. Dead skin cells camouflage the natural skin tone of hands and need a regular scrubbing routine to get rid of these dead cells. A mild cleanser or a body wash is an excellent product to rub the skin while bathing. Once the hands are cleaned off the superior dirt, make sure to scrub it with either a homemade preparation or a market bought scrub. Do this at least thrice a week to reveal soft and glowing hands.
  • Using ordinary soap laden with harsh chemicals to wash hands is not sufficient. Regular washing with harsh chemicals may strip of the hands of its natural oil content. Instead, opt for a mild hand cleanser that cleans gently without making your hands dry.
  • Using a fairness pack on hands would yield soft and lightened hand complexion. Fairness packs can be made easily with ingredients available at home.
  • Moisturising is an important aspect of skincare. Dry hands hamper the complexion of the skin. Make sure your hands are always moisturized with a mild moisturizer every night before retiring to the bed.
  • Sunscreen is as important to the hands as it is to the face. Use a sunscreen with SPF 15 or more on the hands. This will retain the skin tone of your hands and would not cause them to burn in the sun.
  • Waxing is a great way to remove the accumulated dead skin on the hands. It not only removed unwanted hair but also reveals a fresher skin tone. Always opt for mild waxing ingredients such as wax strips treated with Aloe Vera or sugar and honey wax. Though hair removal creams also work well, they may darken the skin with prolonged use.
  • Like it is important to remove makeup from the face, it is imperative to remove makeup from the hands too. Use a mild makeup removing cream or baby oil to remove any traces of foundation before hitting the sack.

Home treatments for fairer hands

All About Beauty

Beauty is not skin deep. It’s attitude that separates the beauty from the crowd. “Looking at beauty in the world, is the first step of purifying the mind.” The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. A woman whose smile is open and whose expression is glad has a kind of beauty no matter what she wears. All women are beautiful, regardless of their looks. You just need to touch their soul with respect and appreciation for their inner beauty and you will be rewarded with joy. The heart is way more important than the package.

I love natural beauty, and I think it’s your best look, but I think makeup as an artist is so trans-formative. I would never like to endorse a fairness cream. I believe in natural beauty.

True beauty can’t shine through make-up. Many of us can’t even imagine our life without makeup. It sounds strange and even scary for many girls, thanks to media popularization of unrealistic beauty standards. To be beautiful without makeup?! Is it even possible?!

For many of us it would be a big nonsense even to go to a supermarket with no makeup on.

Media often forces us to believe that a woman with no makeup on can’t actually look somewhat attractive or beautiful.

If someone wants to live a makeup-free life, or at least to be able to have makeup-free days, then it makes sense to put a little bit more effort into caring about the natural beauty of your face, hair and body.

1) Feel beautiful (even without makeup)
Yes, first step to natural, makeup-free beauty is connected with your inner perception of yourself – your self image. If a girl considers herself beautiful and is able to accept herself totally and unconditionally, then the whole world will feel the same about her. Yes, it’s that simple!
But if you don’t feel comfortable and confident about yourself with no makeup on, try to adapt the new ‘natural’ image gradually.

2) Your skin is your everything!
If you decide to lead a makeup-free life, it doesn’t mean that you need to completely let go of all skin care products. Many skin problems are actually related to the excessive use of makeup; skin tone becomes uneven because of the reaction of your body on a foundation, concealer or blush. If skin problems persist, get a professional advice of a dermatologist; it’s better to treat the problem straight away, than to put it on hold into a waiting box. Some other tips for the beauty of your skin include: use facial masks 2 or 3 times a week (choose masks according to your skin type), and exfoliate your skin regularly (we are not only talking about exfoliating your facial skin, exfoliate your whole body.

3) Healthy eating and water
Good food is important not only for the beauty of our skin, but also for the overall health of our body.

We are what we eat, therefore healthy and balanced diet should be our faithful, lifelong friend.

Make sure you eat fresh fruits and vegetables every day, as well as healthy fats and proteins; these are so important for our beauty.

And, of course, our best friend is water! Try to drink about 8 glasses of water a day and also treat yourself with a green or white tea from time to time, because these are rich in antioxidants and will help your skin look fresh and young for a very long time, even without makeup.

4) Smile and love yourself
Smile will instantly help you to feel and look pretty, even if you don’t have any makeup on!

As Audrey Hepburn once said: “The prettiest girl is the happiest one!” Smile every time you look in the mirror, smile to people you see on the street and, in general, let smile be your favorite accessory – you will see how the whole world will start smiling back at you!

Love yourself. Accept yourself fully and completely. Love the way you look with or without makeup, because you are truly unique and beautiful! Remember it!

5) What about your hair?
If you want to look pretty with no makeup on – it’s important to take a good care of your hair and keep your hair color close to natural.

Try to keep your hair in great condition by using right hair care products that are suitable for your hair type, and do hair masks and oil treatments regularly. Nothing can be more beautiful than silky and shiny locks!

Is Your Hair Always Too Oily?

When I’m working as a model, my hair gets a ton of heat applied to it and a lot of product put in it, so, when I’m not on a modeling job, I do as little as possible to my hair to help restore it to its natural state. That’s what I suggest women consider doing, too. Do as little as possible to their hair!

Repeatedly, I’ve spoken with women who say they have to wash their hair everyday otherwise their hair gets too oily. Unknowingly, they might be creating the problem because daily washing strips the important and natural oil away from hair causing the sebaceous glands to produce more oil. Daily washing can also dry out and irritate the scalp, too, leading to dandruff.

Some of the problems that could be causing over oily hair, other than over washing, might be hormonal, too much oily food, shampoos with sulfates, and/or not rinsing well. Fortunately, it’s a problem that’s correctable.

Believe it or not, Americans wash their hair nearly 5 times per week on average, when several generations ago, it was normal to wash hair on average just once a month! We are washing our hair way too often thinking we are helping to condition our hair. Personally, I shampoo about every four or five days. If you are a daily washer, try to work up to that. The correct amount of oil secretion on your scalp should balance over time. Another option is to use dry shampoos in between washings. Typically baking soda based, they can freshen your hair and scalp at a fraction of the cost of shampoo, cut down on the excessive packaging waste of shampoo bottles and decrease water usage, too. This, ultimately, will help your hair and your scalp, and your pocketbook.

Blow drying your hair every time you wash it can over dry your hair and make it frizzy and brittle. I always air dry my hair and I highly recommend this to maintain the integrity of your hair. Limit the amount of hair product use, too. Often I apply a leave-in conditioner because this keeps my hair protected from the elements. That’s the only product I use on my hair after shampooing.

How you brush your hair is important, too. Be very gentle when brushing your hair by starting at the ends and brushing a bit higher with each stroke until you reach the roots. This way you limit breakage and over pulling on your hair.
